Desarai' Monae': Have you ever just taken a look at the fashion industry and think.... Why does everyone wear the same thing? Who do they really represent?!? Who and what are their inspirations? Do their closets really look like this?" Well these are questions I repeatedly ask myself.... So, I just thought I'd create a blog that fuses my two loves: style and dance. There are so many dancers that look for things to wear for photo-shoots, class, everyday errands, and outings with friends. I'm freeing you awesome artists & performers of the limiting dress-code. No more boring black and white ensembles or the tired flannel and sweats moment. Here's a place to get inspiration or carbon copy the look! At least it's a look that will have you stand out and be unique. That's really the underlying purpose of our industry: Being different.
